pets.lk is a pet social media platform that allows users to create profiles for themselves and their pets, share content, connect with other pet owners, and access pet-related services. Our services include but are not limited to:

3. User Accounts

5. Pet Listings and Information

5.1 Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all pet information you provide, including but not limited to breed, health records, pedigree, and certifications.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Post fraudulent or misleading information about pets
• Engage in illegal pet trade or sales that violate local laws
• Use the Platform to facilitate animal cruelty or abuse
• Misrepresent the health, breed, or background of any pet

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by pets.lk and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, pets.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted content, including pet health records, pedigree information, or certifications. Users should independently verify important information.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless pets.lk and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
